CLIPBOARD

1.Cut

Short Cut Key: Ctrl + X
This option is used to cut the selected text or picture and save it on Clipboard. 

2.Copy
Short Cut Key: Ctrl + P
This option is used to copy the selected text or picture and save it on clipboard. 

3.Paste
Short Cut Key: Ctrl + V
This option is used to retrieve the text or picture from clipboard and paste it on word document where you want to paste. This command is not usable without Cut or Copy the selected text or picture. 

4.Format Painter
Short Cut Key: 
Ctrl + Shift + C (Copy Formatting)
Ctrl + Shift + V (Paste Formatting)
This option is used to copy the formatting from one selected place and apply it to another selected place. 

5.Clipboard
Clipboard is a place where cut or copied text or pictures are temporarily save for pasting it to another place.
